Salman Khan New And Latest Films 'Love U... Mr. Kalakaar': Salman Khan is currently filming a cameo for Sooraj Barjatya's Love U... Mr. Kalakaar, toplining Amrita Rao and Tusshar Kapoor, reports Mumbai Mirror.

Khan and Barjatya go a long way, having debuted together in Maine Pyaar Kiya (1989).

Their next film together, Hum Aapke Hain Koun...! (1994), in which Khan was paired with Madhuri Dixit, was one of Bollywood's most memorable hit.

The two last worked together as lead and director in Hum Saath-Saath Hain (1999). Since then, they drifted apart, but only professionally. Their respect for each other hasn't diminished.

When Barjatya - who now calls the shots in Rajshree Pictures, the producers of the film - requested Khan to do a cameo in Love U..., it was immediately a done deal.

Love U... Mr. Kalakaar is being helmed by S. Manasvi, who has also written the story.

Early last year there were reports that Salman and Barjatya had fallen apart after Salman turned down a character role in a Rajshree film.

Salman was reportedly not amused with Barjatya offering him a character role at such an early stage in his career.

"Salman was not impressed with the role offered to him and said no straight off. He also told Sooraj that come what may in his career, he would never do silly character roles," a source had told Mid-Day.

Is Salman now making up with Barjatya, or was the Mid Day report bogus? We are inclined to go with the latter.
